I’m delighted to share the news that I have been appointed as a board member of Creative Exchange Artist Studios.
Creative Exchange Artist Studios have been active in East Belfast for the past 20 years, providing essential workspace for visual artists at all stages of their careers. As an artist led initiative, they are renowned for the development of dynamic arts programmes and bespoke community engaged projects in the locality. Creative Exchange is run by a voluntary Board of Directors made up of professionals with the skills to drive the organisation and support our innovative arts projects.
Creative Exchange are passionate about supporting artists professional development. Studio artists work on individual and collective projects in addition to Art in the Eastside, Ireland’s largest outdoor exhibition.
2016 marks Creative Exchange’s 20th year. To celebrate, they have launched the 20/20 Project; an ambitious celebration of their longevity and the growing visual arts scene in East Belfast. 20/20 will consist of an exhibition, an off site project, a symposium, artists talks and performances. More details to be announced soon!
