I’m a newcomer to this (Culture Night Belfast has been running now for what, 5 years?), so I am really, really excited about attending this coming Friday, 16 September to see everything that’s happening in Belfast. So much of what I’m trying to do at the minute is map the infrastructure in Northern Ireland – people, practices, organisations, agendas etc. etc. I’m hoping that Culture Night, along with the Visual Artists Ireland Get Together conference that I programmed in August, will be very good introductions.
Culture Night have some gorgeous print and a really thorough, wobbly website which guides you around the city and the programme. I’ll update with highlights and some photos if I don’t end up in the pub.
