I’ve been approached by an artist/ curator to undertake some mentoring. We’re figuring out the details and a plan of action but have so far been corresponding by email and Skype. Moran has significant experience and I am excited by the discussions we are having.
About Moran:
Moran Been-noon is an Israeli Dublin-based visual arts practitioner and researcher. Her work critiques the political aspects of everyday life, using whatever medium best serves the concept. She earned an MFA degree in Computer Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York. As a lecturer she has developed and taught both undergraduate and MA art practice and research courses. During her PhD studies (NCAD, Dublin), she curated several gallery shows and worked on various art and design projects. She is currently a co-director and treasurer of Platform Arts in Belfast, and working as an independent curator and artist.
